Pedestrian tour
 
 
In a tour of the fortress you will hear stories, histories, history, social-economic life, geography of the place and it includes the most important historical monuments, namely: Clock Tower (the symbol building of Sighisoara, today hosting the History Museum) Monastery Church, Roman Catholic Church, House with Shingle, Vlad Dracul House, House with Deer, Venetian House, School Street, School Scale, Church in the Hill, the 9 towers and 2 bastions left standing up to the present day. Due to the narrow space in the premises, visiting the 2 museums - the History Museum and the Medieval Army Museum - is done individually.
The length of a tour of the fortress is approx. 2-3 hours (depending on the interest given by tourists). If you want to visit some tourist destinations in Lower City, the duration of the tour increases depending on the tourists' option.
 
Departure time: Daily at 10:00 and 16:00 available (April to October).
